Appointments and Scheduling
What should I do before the appointment?
Please have the property in a condition suitable for presentation before the scheduled appointment. To make the most effective use of our time, we would prefer not to utilize it cleaning or rearranging furniture during the appointment.
Please provide us with any instructions on how to access the property or how to obtain lock-box codes on our appointment scheduling form.
What is expected of me during the appointment?
Want the short answer? Nothing, we so got this; we do not require agents to be present during appointments. As long as we can get in to the listing, we can “shoot” it. Our years of experience give us the skills to kindly greet sellers and make them comfortable with our easy process. If you’d instead prefer to be present, we would love to have your company, we just ask that you try not to make any cameos in the photos! 🙂
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
We understand that setting up a proper photo shoot of the house can take coordination with many different people, and sometimes those engagements can fall through. Keeping this in consideration, we would appreciate immediate notice of such an issue. If you need to cancel your appointment, and are unable to do so before 8AM on the day of your upcoming appointment, you will be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
Receiving Your Media
What is your turnaround time?
All of your media will typically be delivered within 1-3 business days of your appointment date. A photos-only shoot of an average sized property is usually delivered within 24 hours.
Please ask about our expedited delivery option if you’re really in a time crunch. Our #1 goal is meeting your needs whenever possible.
How will I receive my photos?
To make delivery as fast and easy as possible, we send all of your completed images directly to your email address using Dropbox. A link will be emailed to you, and downloading your files is as east as following the link and clicking download.
How will I receive my films?
Before we send you the final cut, we will first send you a low-res draft privately via Dropbox for your approval. Please take some time to review the footage and confirm that any information like square footage and room count, is correct, and most importantly, that you love it!
Upon your approval we will then render out the final draft in all of its 4K glory and upload it to our website. This process can take several hours, so please be diligent and succinct in your review.
With the final 4K copy complete, we will send you the actual video file via Dropbox, and we will send you a copy of the hosted link/URL via email.
Do I own the photos/videos?
It is standard practice for the production company to retain the copyright to created works. We do reserve that right and restrict the use of the photos & videos to only the selling of the specified property. If you would like to use them for any other purposes, please contact us first.
What if I am not satisfied with my media?
We want to hear about it! We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction. So please do not hesitate to give us your honest feedback, as we rely on that to improve.

What Kind of Camera Techniques Do You Use?
We use professional-grade DSLR cameras with wide angle lenses, and extensive lighting solutions to capture the true-to-life brilliance of your home. We utilize multiple off-camera flashes to give our shots a carefully composed look. Each photo is then meticulously post-processed to adjust color, temperature, brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, angle straightening and more.
How Long Should My Photos-Only Session Take?
Through years of experience and refinement, we have perfected our system to allow us to spend only 40-80 minutes snapping away on location. This is an estimate which varies depending on the listing size, and services requested. For example, listings which need Twilight, Aerial, or Elite images will usually take longer.
4K Films
How Will I Receive My Films?

Where Do You Host Your Films?
We host all of your films on our website. The reason we choose to host our films on our website instead of popular platforms like YouTube is because of features that lead to poor viewer retention. YouTube has advertisements, related videos, and an auto-play feature that may lead potential buyers to homes listed by other sellers.
Streaming from our website is fast, high-quality, reliable, and last but not least- exclusively yours.
What is a "Draft"?
A draft is a low-resolution initial edit of your film. Drafts are smaller in size, and thus, quicker for us to render out and deliver to you. Didn’t see a shot that you wanted? Have a custom branding request? No problem! We utilize drafts to show you changes to your films faster.
At Rees Photography, we are committed to getting your films just right! That’s why we include 2 revision drafts for free with the purchase of this product.
Upon your approval of a draft, your full quality 4K revision will be published to you, and your project will be finalized.
What Does it Mean When My Project Has Been Finalized?
Due to long rendering and upload times associated with producing 4K content, once a 4K revision has been approved, the project becomes finalized.
Any changes requested after a project has been finalized may be subject to a $30 fee.
